De studerende blev bedt om at beskrive deres følelser af rummet og prøve at dykke ned i nogle af de ting, der gik gennem hovedet under deres Turbo Dérive.
Fra nærmest frie associationer og gådefulde kommentarer arbejdede vi os langsomt henimod nogle beskrivelser af, hvordan steder i rummet føltes.
De vigtigste beskrivelser var (på engelsk):
How the whiteness of the room abstracted the space;
The bright, airy feeling due to the large window and white walls;
The tallness of the ceiling height which gave the space a loft-like feeling;
The unfinished industrial rawness of the interior, with exposed pipes and paint cracking off the walls;
How you could read the layers of inhabitation from the previous uses of the space;
How the rough, unfinished nature of the interior made it feel like it was possible to adapt and appropriate without being too precious, a flexible space;
The simultaneously open and confined nature of the space due to the two gaps in the partition between it and the room next door;
How it was not a safe space to leave work or possessions
